Children's Day Carnival @ International Tech Park
Bangalore, November 14, 2003

IT professionals at the International Tech Park, Bangalore today celebrated Children's Day with a social spirit and in a novel way by entertaining over 600 less -fortunate children from 12 different institutions and schools.

'Family Services', a non-profitable organization, along with the 'Karnataka Marwari Youth Federation', who had organised this Carnival at the International Tech Park, made it a funfilled environment for these underprivileged children. Game stalls, creative pavilions for art & craft, pottery painting, camel and pony rides in addition to a bouncing castle, all enhanced the excitement.

The fun-filled daylong event had sports activities like obstacle course, relay race, tug of war, merry go-round, music corner and lots of food and goodies. Promoting volunteerism among the Parkites was the essence of the Carnival. Several IT professional at International Tech Park came forward as Volunteers to share this moment with these under privileged children.

Mr. Chan Kah Hoe, CEO, ITPL said, "The Children's Day Carnival created a unifying spirit at the International Tech Park among the Parkites and the children. All in all, it proved to be lots of fun and enjoyment enabling Parkites to relive their childhood days, while doing their bit for the less fortunate."
