Bangalore Techies showcase "TALENTZ @ TECH PARK"
Bangalore, October 10, 2003

The International Tech Park, Bangalore organized 'Talentz @ Tech Park' where companies from the Park participated in various acts and performances including songs and solos, mime acts, classical performance, dance and `jugalbandhi' to showcase their talents and discover the 'Starz of the Park'. Several Parkites got together to compete in a great ambience created at The Fountain area of the Tech Park Mall.

Each company was given a 15 min. time slot to perform various acts in 'Singing', 'Dancing' and / or 'Mime'. The musical and funfilled afternoon, began with a performance by the young vivacious group from Tata Infotech. This was followed by the melodious queen, Dr. Sonali from Avestha Gengraine who captivated the audience with her gazal 'Mausam Aayenge Jayenge' winner her the best female performance award.

Misys International Financial Systems, performed a cross cultural act, 'Colours of India' through a series of folk and filmy dances from across the country. The team took back the best company performance award.

Rajneesh of Cable & Wireless performed the evergreen melodies from the yester years. His all time Kishore Kumar favourites won him the best Male performance award. Prasad Jaydev from SG Software, who played 'Chura ke dil mera goria chalee' on the 'mouth organ', also shared this award.

Parkites of various age groups from different companies joined together to re-create a campus-like atmosphere. From 'Mustafa' to 'Sona I love you girl' to the mesmerising 'Men in Black' and the scintillating 'Kaliyon ka chaman' the acts were cheered heavily by the audience. CEOs of many companies were also present to support their teams.

AOL Member Services, Affiliated Computer Services of India, IBM Global Services, Precision Interconnect, Zapapp among others kept the camaraderie going through their high-spirits through the afternoon.

Mr. Chan Kah Hoe, CEO, ITPL, said, "In the midst of the abundant technical talent, Talentz @ Tech Park was organised as an avenue to showcase hidden talents of the Parkites. It has been very encouraging to see whole-hearted performances by Parkites and healthy competition among companies. We hope to enhance the life at the Park with the 'work-live-play' culture through many more such informal interactions."
